Mandalorian Battle Pack | I Have Spoken!

Set Review: (2020) LEGO Star Wars 75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack

102 Pieces | 4 Minifigures (All Exclusive Minifigure) | $14.99 (US Retail)

November 16th, 2020

This set comes with four diverse unnamed Mandalorian Minifigures (two masculine and two feminine Mandalorians). For the most part, all of these Minifigures are highly detailed. I say “for the most part” because, unfortunately, the brown and orange Mandalorian doesn't include leg-printing in its design.

Only a select few Mandos come with rangefinders, but all of them are equipped with stud-shooter blasters. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty bummed that this set doesn't include any familiar faces or real characters from the Mandalorian TV show…  but be it as it may we still get some really interesting and genuinely unique Mandalorian designs.

Love the new narrow cape designs!

Fun Fact: Mandalorian armor is made out of a strong (seemingly indestructible) material called Mandalorian Iron (or Beskar).  it's strong enough to withstand Blaster shots and even small hits from a Lightsaber!

Is this the way? Building the set was a quick breeze, I mean, it's a $15 battle pack, it's not aiming to impress the Master Builders out there. I wouldn't recommend building this with a friend, you might get disappointed if you're not the one building the Speeder bike.

Skrt! Skrt! The Mandalorian Speeder bike (or Balutar-class swoop) included in this set is a Fun and clean build but Lacks any accuracy from its source material. unfortunately, the Balutar-class swoop included in this set is way too elongated and large to be anywhere near accurate to Star Wars canon. In the Lego company's defense, I can understand how difficult it can be to translate everything into Minifigure scale, but it doesn't excuse the fact at the rear end of the vehicle is SO long. I honestly feel like Lego only did this because they wanted to keep the price range at $15, so they had to use more pieces thus making a larger speeder.

This is the way. Comparing this to the Lego Mandalorian Battle Pack (set number 7914) from 2011, I think you get a more interesting set. Granted, the older set from 2011 had a lot more interesting builds but the Minifigures were extremely repetitive and dull, So that's one way this newer set triumphs overall.

Fun Fact: Boba Fett is not a Mandalorian and neither is his armor made out of Beskar, his Armor is made out of durasteel!

Ok cool, but now it’s time for real talk. I'm gonna list the pros and cons.

I Love The Minifigure selection and Minifigure detail.

I Hate the inaccurate and oversized vehicle.

Tell them how you really feel. Overall it's a decent set with a nice arrangement of interesting Minifigures, but a mediocre set design.

3.5 out of 5

These are just my thoughts and opinions, what do you think?

Did you purchase this set? Why or why not? I’d love to know!

As always, Enjoy & Farewell!
