Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder | Utinni!

Set Review: (2020) LEGO Star Wars 75248 Resistance A-wing Starfighter

269 Pieces | 3 Minifigures | $29.99 (US Retail)

November 29th, 2020

This set comes with 3 great Minifigures Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, and a Jawa! All Minifigures have front/back torso printing, along with leg printing, with the exception of the Jawa. The Jawa is sporting the traditional short (non-articulated) legs.

All but C3-PO are equipped with a blaster of some sort, Luke with a long blaster, and the Jawa with a short one. If I were to take a guess as to what type of blasters they are using, I’d say Luke is equipped with a 6-2Aug2 hunting rifle and the Jawa using a Jawa ionization blaster.

Fun Fact: Jawas have a strong odor because they communicate through speech and sent.

Solid Build. I’ve built a lot of different varieties of Luke's X-34 landspeeders but

I’d have to say this is pretty solid. I love the technique for the three different turbine engines,
it’s a sturdy build and one that keeps this 2020 set different from the other sets throughout the years.
I also love the colors they use in this set,  that sand orange they use for the majority of this build is very
accurate to the movie.

The sleek design and accurate colors are nice BUT it does not excuse the fact that there

are so many stickers (kinda). I really hate having to put on stickers on my lego sets but with this
set I kind of understand, since the stickers are on thin and rounded places that usually don't
get printed on other sets… so set number 75271 I’ll cut you a little bit of slack, just a little.

Does it do anything? For all my playset fans out there, no, there are no flick-fire missiles,

no stud-shooters, and no play features. Yes, this is a little unfortunate and a bit of a let-down

but other than swapping the Jawa’s classic blaster for a new stud-shooter, I don’t feel like this

set needs a play feature since the speeder didn't do anything in the movie.

Fun Fact: Luke’s X-34 landspeeder can reach a high speed up to 250 km/h!

Nice but confusing. I actually like this set but I’m a little confused as to why there is a Jawa included in this set.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought the only time that Luke and C3-PO were alone in his

landspeeder was when they were looking for R2-D2 witch was when Luke gets attacked by a Tusken Raider,

so with that being said, why is there a Jawa? I personally believe it’s because the

Lego company wanted to keep this set different from the 2017

set “Luke's Landspeeder” (set number 75173).

Ok cool, but now it’s time for real talk. I'm gonna list the pros and cons.

I Love the accurate colors and solid design.

I Hate (but understand) why there are so many stickers.

Tell them how you really feel.

Overall, was a satisfying build with fine detail, Decent Minifigures,

and not enough printed pieces.

3.5 out of 5

These are just my thoughts and opinions, what do you think?

Did you purchase this set? Why or why not? I’d love to know!

As always, Enjoy & Farewell!
